Shahid Beheshti University Deploys Medical Team to Tajikistan to Enhance Healthcare Services
Tehran, Iran – Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences (SBUMS) has deployed its first medical team to Tajikistan to collaborate on a joint training program aimed at improving healthcare services. The deployment follows successful negotiations between SBUMS and the Ministry of Health of Tajikistan.
The team, comprised of specialists in laparoscopic surgery, radiology, and pulmonary diseases, will share their expertise with Tajikistani colleagues through a range of training programs and knowledge exchange initiatives. This collaboration builds upon SBUMS' prior commitment to joint cooperation in the healthcare and medical education sectors, as expressed in official correspondence with the Tajikistani Ministry of Health.
SBUMS experts will conduct training courses and facilitate the exchange of scientific knowledge and experience within their respective specialties. This program represents a substantial step forward in strengthening bilateral relations in healthcare and enhancing the quality of medical services in Tajikistan. SBUMS plans to send additional medical teams in the near future to continue and expand this collaborative effort.
